Planned Preventative Maintenance Surveys

What is a Planned Preventative Maintenance Survey?

Planned Preventative Maintenance surveys (also known as stock condition surveys) are a record of an asset or portfolio of assets which enables a client to understand the remedial works that are required over a given time period. These surveys will be tailored to the needs of the client and may include other information on the assets as required.

What are the benefits of having a PPM Survey and Management Plan?

  • Approximate savings of 15% in comparison to using a 'reactive maintenance' approach

  • Enable you to make strategic decisions in relation to your assets

  • Enable you to budget for priority repairs on critical assets

  • Ensure that maintenance costs are kept consistent for given time periods

  • Avoid any unexpected and unplanned costs associated with defects

  • Allow for improvements in carbon reduction and sustainability at a wider level

At UNEK Building Consultants, our building surveyors have extensive experience in carrying out such surveys and have done so in the past for various types of buildings. If you would like to discuss your bespoke requirements, or instruct us to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance Surveys of your assets, then please contact our Building Surveyors for initial advice and a FREE, no-obligation service quotation.
