Anti-Slavery Statement
As a company, UNEK Building Consultants has a zero-tolerance insight towards modern slavery, all our staff have to meet a certain criteria and knowledge of the Act. We ensure no modern slavery or human trafficking does not take place with all our business dealings and partners and have the same approach as us. Modern slavery encompasses slavery the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, servitude, and child labour so we apply effective measuring systems and controls to maintain our works in this way.
We have achieved Safe PQQ Verification with the Alcumus Safe Contractor Accreditation Scheme following a vigorous vetting process which includes Modern Slavery policies and procedures.
Processes for preventing and combating slavery and human trafficking
As part of our instigation we identify and mitigate the risks covering the Modern Slavery Act 2015, making sure we keep the same expectations from the business partners we execute works with also have the same commitment and those aware of the legislation. Our team is always dedicated for dealing with concerns about compliance with the Act and protections in order to resolve the matter raised.
This statement is made in pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applies throughout our Company and We look forward to working with our partners, contractors and suppliers to bring any necessary changes into effect, and then to review their effectiveness and consider any changes or additional measures which such a review highlights, we have necessary steps in place to mitigate any risk of slavery and human trafficking and improve further in the future years to combat modern slavery and human trafficking.
